California Proposition 65 Notice
⚠️ WARNING: Certain products sold by WheelchairTieDowns.com can expose you to chemicals — including those associated with polyester webbing dyes and zinc-plated metal hardware — that are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
About California Proposition 65
California’s Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals on the State’s Prop 65 list. The list includes more than 900 chemicals associated with cancer or reproductive toxicity. A Prop 65 warning is required regardless of whether a given product poses any actual measurable risk to a typical user.
What This Means for You
If you are purchasing from a California shipping or billing address, you will see this warning displayed at checkout before you place your order. The warning is a regulatory disclosure required by California law; it does not necessarily mean our products pose an elevated risk compared to similar products on the market.
Why We Display This Warning
WheelchairTieDowns.com sells wheelchair tie-down systems, retractors, occupant restraints, and securement accessories. Components and materials used in these products may include polyester webbing dyes and zinc-plated metal hardware, which appear on the California Prop 65 list. Rather than test every product individually for trace exposure levels, we provide the warning out of an abundance of caution to comply with the law.
